TERMS + CONDITIONS

These terms are designed to create a smooth, respectful experience for both client and photographer. Booking a session indicates understanding and acceptance of the following policies.
Before Booking
Securing Your Session
All sessions are confirmed by Brigette Squire.
To reserve your date and time, a signed contract and a 50% non-refundable retainer are required.
Once your session is secured, that date and time are held exclusively for you and will not be offered to another client. For this reason, retainers are non-refundable.
Because life and schedules evolve, sessions are typically booked no more than two months in advance.
After Booking
What Happens Next
After your session date and time are confirmed, you will receive:
A personalized service agreement
An invoice for the required retainer
The retainer is due upon receipt of the contract. The remaining balance is due on or before the day of your session.
If a session is booked within five (5) days of the requested date, full payment will be required at booking.
Contracts and payments must be completed by the session date. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the session and retainer.
About Your Shoot
Location
Unless otherwise specified by the client, location selection is at the photographer’s discretion. Sessions may take place indoors or outdoors and may utilize natural or artificial light.
For event photography, locations are typically determined by the client. Flash use may vary depending on lighting conditions and venue guidelines.
TIMELINESS + ATTENDANCE:
Clients are expected to arrive fully prepared for their session, including hair, makeup, and wardrobe.
A 5-minute grace period is provided
After 10 minutes, a $15 late fee will be applied
After 15 minutes, the session will be cancelled and payment forfeited
Session time cannot be extended due to late arrival.
Attendance is limited to individuals being photographed unless otherwise approved. Additional guests can be distracting and may impact the flow of the session.
EXPECTED SESSION TIMES:
Mini Sessions: 20 minutes
Signature Portrait Sessions: 60–90 minutes
Commercial Real Estate: 1-hour minimum
Food Photography: 2-hour minimum
Events: 2-hour minimum
CANCELLATIONS/RESCHEDULING:
If rescheduling is necessary due to illness, inclement weather, or personal or family emergency, a new session date will be scheduled as soon as possible.
If a new date is not scheduled within three (3) months of the original session date, the session fee will be forfeited.
In the rare event that the photographer is unable to perform services due to illness or emergency, a full refund will be issued within five (5) days of the scheduled session or event.
After Your Photoshoot
PRINTS & PRODUCTS
Clients will receive a private online gallery of edited images within two (2) weeks of the session date, unless otherwise noted.
Galleries remain active for 14 days from the delivery date. Clients are encouraged to download and back up their images promptly.
COPYRIGHT NOTICE
Your Topix Photography retains copyright of all images, both digital and print. Images may not be altered, cropped, or reproduced without written permission or a print release.
Clients may share images for personal use and are encouraged to credit Your Topix Photography when publishing.
PUBLICATION
By signing the service agreement, clients grant permission for Your Topix Photography to use images for portfolio, website, and marketing purposes unless otherwise stated in writing. All rights not expressly granted remain with the photographer.
Your Topix Photography reserves the right to update rates, policies, and offerings at any time without prior notice.
